I started my account in October, 2017. It was really low key. At most, I've had 900 followers. I understand why I lost my first account, I accidentally posted someone topless while drunk. But it wasn't graphic or sexual in nature at all. I made a new account, but after that Instagram was down my throat even though I was trying my best to adhere to guidelines. I had three photos taken down before getting deleted. One was me with a ballgag in my mouth the other was of my butt with boy shorts on. All of my accounts have been private and I screened followers for age and so on.
I'm not sure what else to say except how ridiculous I think it is. Instagram has a right to its guidelines, but they need to be more clear about both their rules and processes. Believe me, I was posting the same shit or even milder than many others and I was still removed. You can bet your ass any Kardashian posts more graphic stuff than me and have never been censored. I also have no idea why they target certain people and not others I'm guessing their choices have everything to do with financial decision making.
I also want to say that it's unfair to artists. Some people, like my partner, who is tattooer and artist, partially rely on Instagram for their business. When you restrict them despite adhering to guidelines and force them into buying ads and so on, it's unfair. There is a real impact to the person. My partner hasn't been censored yet, but due to the algorithm he has lost a lot of growth. And a lot of artists have been shut down even though rendered nudity is supposedly allowed.
